Decreto 30-04-1903: attribuzione dello stemma civico

Con decreto del 30 aprile 1903, il Segretario di Stato per gli Affari dell'Interno attribuisce all'allora comune di Cotrone il diritto all'uso del nuovo stemma civico, che sostituisce quello precedentemente in vigore, in cui era raffigurato il patrono San Dionigi mentre regge la città sulla mano.
Crotone si riappropria dell'identità magnogreca, inserendo nel proprio stemma l'antico tripode che ha caratterizzato la città oltre duemila anni addietro.
Il bozzetto grafico è realizzato a mano ed è minuziosamente descritto nel documento.

With the decree of the 30th April 1903, the Home Secretary grants the city of Crotone, the right to use the new civic coat in substitution of the former one, in which was depicted the patron S. Dionigi holding the city in his hand. Crotone reclaims his Magno-Greek identity inserting in his civic coat the ancient tripod that characterised the city over than 2 thousand years ago. Mediante decreto del 30 de Abril 1903, el Ministro del Interior otorga a la ciudad de Crotone el derecho de uso del nuevo escudo cívico, que sostituye lo de antes, en el que se representaba el patrón S.Dionigi mientras sostiene la ciudad en su mano. 
Crotone recupera su identidad griega, introduciendo en su nuevo escudo cívico el antiguo trípode que ha caracterizado la ciudad desde hace más de dos mil años. El boceto hecho a mano se describe minuciosamente en el ducumento.
